5/27/26 (Stop Being Transphobic)
In recent days, I have seen a significant rise in transphobia online after a TikTok user by the name of Lesbian Lifts described another user named Paris as a terf due to her lack of mention of trans women when discussing feminism, as well as terfs rushing to Paris' defense. Many women who describe themselves as "trans allies" have said Paris is a real radical feminist due to her focus on "real" or "biological" women, exculding or minimizing trans women.
This new wave of transphobia from so-called "feminists" comes during an already dangerous time in history for trans people, especially trans women. There has been a staggering increase in anti-trans laws, most of which fall into a category coloquially knows as bathroom bills. Along with this, at least 13 trans people have been killed since April 1st, 2026. The government is encouraging and participating in a genocide of trans people, especially trans women of color. Instead of making up bullshit about how trans women aren't "biological women" (more on that here, we should fight against transphobia, misogyny, racism, ableism, anti-semetism, islamophobia, and overall just fight for the right of people alive to not suffer.
